I often wonder if these people have a moral compassion and how do they sleep at night. SAD.

OMG, this reminds me of so many years of serious propaganda that came out of the Border Patrol over the many years. MOST of it here in the Tucson sector was propagated by guess who?? ART del Cuerto. He had support of right wing vigilantes and ranchers who would spread his bullshit. Prayer rugs/terrorists coming in at the border, was the ONE time when BP management said it was bullshit. ( during Obama I believe)

The lies and propaganda were difficult to keep up with. And difficult to fight because of right wing supporters in AZ.

Yep and now he openly makes videos with right-wing militia on the government dime. He is spreading lies about the senior Samaritans. PoS.

Of course. But also note, that as much and he and Judd were kissing Trump's ass, photo ops and all, trying to get a cushy spot in the administration, they failed miserably. LOL

The horrors abound. I'm often overwhelmed with sadness and rage, but I do my best to channel those emotions into activism. I've never been more ashamed of the government. 😔

We had a "reporter" hostess (Rivera) of a local Tucson PBS program who was like Ali, what's her name. She always pushed the BP agenda and had them on regularly to push their agenda. I thought she was having a relationship with Art. I complained about her. She is not on anymore. I hope she moved away.

When have any rules governed the Border Patrol?? Since they are unaccountable, they don't need to follow any rules. And under Trump they are totally unleashed.

Thank you for sharing your insight and leading your personal experience and expertise. It’s very interesting to hear how the narrative is crafted from the law-enforcement side and then passed along to the press.
